Description
We are currently seeking experienced Quantity Surveyors and Estimators to join our fast growing team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience and have completed their Honours degree or equivalent.
The successful candidate will be based in our Glasgow office but will be required to attend sites across Scotland. We require someone who can deliver the highest standards on their own, and when working with other members of our team.
We carry out a variety of construction work from building reinstatement to large scale refurbishments and construction project.
Responsibilities
- Estimating and tendering for projects
- Producing and submitting valuations
- Advising and liaising with operational management on contract and commercial matters.
- Reporting monthly costs, maintaining accurate financial records, and preparing cost forecasts.
- Successfully managing sub-contractor accounts.
- Able to manage own time and tasks to deliver works on time and budget
- Communicate clearly with Clients and Management
- Flexible working arrangements
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience in Quantity Surveying
- Honours Degree or equivalent
- Full UK driving license
